Health care

International students at the University of Haifa are required to have health insurance coverage by an Israeli insurance provider.
The International School works with the Harel Insurance Company and we facilitate registration for our students.
After students are accepted into the program, they will receive further information about applying for coverage.

Harel Insurance covers all injuries or illnesses that occur while the students are in Israel. They provide coverage from the moment the student leaves his/her home country until the moment he/she returns home after the program.
Harel Insurance does not provide coverage for pre-existing conditions. Therefore, students with any pre-existing conditions are required to have coverage by another insurance provider from their home country that will be valid for treatment in Israel.

The cost of Harel Insurance is included in the tuition fees for all Masters Degree students at the International School.
Feel free to visit Harel's website: Harel-Yedidim Insurance
